About Us
My name is Danielle Ozuna
I am the Owner and Executive Chef of Caribbean Soul. I started this catering company during the pandemic as a farmer searching for hearty, healthy, and culturally rooted meals at a time when restaurants were closing and access to fresh, nutritious food was limited.
What began as a necessity quickly became a purpose.
We partner with local farmers and butchers to source quality ingredients and bring people together through food—creating experiences that feel both nourishing and memorable.
My family is Dominican, Jamaican, and Haitian, and that influence is the foundation of everything we do. We come from different islands with different stories, but we remain one blood. At Caribbean Soul, no one culture stands above another. This is a space where everyone is welcome—to celebrate their own culture or experience another without exclusion.
Caribbean Soul is proudly minority-owned, woman-owned, and disabled-owned. More importantly, it is community-built.
